WHAT WE DO

RESTORATIVE
JUSTICE
Restorative justice has become a fundamental component of all MKC operations - from management of staff to design and implementation of programs. All Center operations are rooted in the value of those gathered, the truth of each person's experience, the health and well-being of the whole. In addition to the values of restorative justice being embedded throughout the work, Center staff has been contracted to provide restorative services and to help bring to life a culture of community in the school.
TEEN DROP-IN
The Teen Drop-In program is the heartbeat of the Center. Young people come, as they are, to relax and unwind after school. Each day begins with reflection/prayer and invites each person to pause and tune into the spirit of that which is greater than their self. In addition to the casual hang out space, pop-up programs are offered on various topics and celebrations marked on special days. To become a member of the Center, register below:

“The MKC means a lot to me. It is my home away from home. I find comfort and peace. Also, as a leader at the Center, I feel that I have grown and matured.” -MKC student leader
